Thursday’s Musical Education is the Beastie Boys - B-Boy Bouillabaisse.
I could go on for hours about how Paul’s Boutique is one of the greatest albums of all time (it is…trust me). However the reason I’m using this as this Thursday’s Musical Education is to pay homage to Shamus the cat. This album influenced his name. His full name was Shamus Ryall. And if you know the album well…you know why.

The sink is now empty. After 18 years of living with Shamus the cat it was time for him to shuffle off this mortal coil.
I’ll miss you lil’ buddy…
Yup…that’s Shamus the cat. Col’ chillin’ in the bathroom sink. That’s his style. He’s nearly 18 years old and I love him more than I can put into words. He’s seen more of my life than anyone else really has. He’s probably not going to be around much longer and I’ll miss him so much when he’s gone. But Shamus the cat…I love you.
Of course, I’m no dummy and I totally realize that if I died he’d gnaw on me for days…and love every bite. That’s okay I still love him nonetheless.
