Thursday’s Musical Education - Okkervil River - Your Past Life as a Blast
As my faithful 10, 5, 1, 0 readers will remember I gave “mad props” to Okkervil River’s Calling And Not Calling My Ex back in my less than read Top Ten albums of the decade post from a few years ago. They just got an honorable mention but it’s such a great song and if you don’t know it I suggest you read listen to it and then download it.

In this post I want to introduce you to Your Past Life as a Blast which, of course, is another fantastic Okkervil song. You can download it here as well. It’s a simple love song…at least that’s how I interpret it.
